Radio Evangelium Bamenda is the  begining of a dream of the Bishops of the Bamenda Ecclesiastical Province to set up a Provincial Catholic Radio Network, called Radio Evangelium (Radio  Good News) in Kumbo, Buea, and Mamfe, with Bamenda as the lead station. The sole aim of this Radio is to make Christ present in the media world in Cameroon  by forming and informing media men and women with Christian and human values. The motto  of the radio is therefore  indicative of its aims: NIHIL VINCIT NISI VERITAS - Nothing conquers except the Truth! When the truth is spoken with love and prudence it brings joy to all. Radio Evangelium Bamenda began test broadcasting on 15 August 2012, the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The pioneer Station Manager, Ngobesing Suh Romanus, is a veteran journalist who worked with the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV) for over 25 years. After less than a year of trial broadcast, Radio Evangelium, as from 1 May 2013, Feast of St Joseph the Workman, broadcasts daily from 5am to Midnight on FM 102. It has got a crew of well trained journalists from different media schools and universities in Cameroon- Odette  Nchanji, Yvonne Sevidzem, Wiymingla Fai Emilienne,  Authur Nwantum, Kah Callista Nkouedjo, Margaret Ndzelen, Adeline Yembe, Bertilla Lavmfu, Richard Nde Lajong, John Philips Wanla Ndzelen, Jude Abanseka, Joseph Asah, and Emmanuel Fokum. There are seasoned technicians - Nkouedjo Marinus, Fred Le'njo, Tim George, Leonelle Che , and Nchotu Benjamin. But there are also seasoned administrators like Dr Ngoko, Mrs Elizabeth Bijingsi, and Ancella Nfi who give their support to the team.
