SATURDAY 7 MAY 2016 OFFICIAL INSTALLATION OF BISHOP AGAPITUS IN KUMBA








The euphoria was indescribable; the moment solemn and the crowd was overwhelmed with excitement when the Papal Nuncio to Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea, His Grace Piero Pioppo officially installed Bishop Agapitus Enunenyoh Nfon as the pioneer Bishop of the new Diocese of Kumba. The time was 10.54am Cameroon Time and the date was Saturday 07 May 2016. The Diocese of Kumba has been created with territory detached from the Diocese of Buea and covering the administrative areas of Meme, Ndian, and parts of Kupe Maneguba. At the moment of creation there are about 20 parishes with less than 40 priests.
